I actually bought this game for my wife who loves puzzle games but I started playing it and now she wants it back The level designs in the game are at times quite elaborate and labyrinthine, though never highly detailed or filled with graphical fluff. The game has instant pick-up-and-play appeal with no instructions needed, and you can spend minutes or hours immersed in the game.
Some, even those in our office, have passed the game off as a weak puzzler in light of some of the more impressive stuff like Lumines, but I'll be damned if it isn't something different and perfectly suited for a high-powered portable medium. It's not hard to imagine this kind of crazy spike in difficulty scaring off some players, especially when you go from simply having to navigate a single blob of mercury through a few color stations and past a couple of moving platforms, right into having to move three independent blobs from one end of a stage to the other, trying to keep them all together, yet not mixing any of them up so you don't inadvertently change their color.
